Platform Property Care has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Multi-skill Trades Bricklayer/ Multi Skilled Operative to join our Responsive team to help us repair and maintain our homes in Matlock and the surrounding area.

You will be a Multi Skill Trades Operative who has demonstrable experience in bricklaying, wet trades, plastering, groundsworks, basic roofing and general building repairs.

What could you be doing?

Working in our Responsive Repairs team you will be ensuring our customer's homes are maintained and repaired to a great standard. You'll be supporting the team with all wet trades and external works associated repairs.

You will thrive on giving great customer service, keeping jobs on track and possess the drive to make sure the work is completed to spec, and right first time.   

The roles are varied, and no two days are the same!   It's a tough task and our expectations are high. In return you'll have the support of a great team!

We want somebody who is:

A team player, you'll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. You'll be working in people's homes, so you'll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication and customer service skills. You'll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering work right first time.

Some things we need from you

-Experience of delivering Multi Trade work

-Qualified to at least NVQ L2 in a relevant trade preferably bricklaying

-Have worked for Housing Association or Local Authority ideally delivering responsive repairs

-You'll be experienced in delivering multi-trade work, with skills in bricklaying, plastering, groundsworks, basic roofing repairs and general building construction.

-You must be able to work alone, and as part of a team 

-You will have good organisational skills and experience of keeping jobs on track 

-And the personal drive to ensure works are completed quickly, efficiently and delivered right first time 

-A full driving licence is essential as a van and fuel card are provided

-As you will be working in customers' homes this role requires a DBS check

There is also the opportunity to earn additional from being on the out of hours rota as required.

This role is for a team covering homes across Matlock, Bakewell, Ashbourne, and the Derbyshire Dales area, so you need to live here.
