Temporary maternity cover opportunity, offering a chance to gain experience. This is an exciting opportunity to work as a specialist Mental Wellbeing Social Work Assistant within the Mental Wellbeing Services with a focus on the mental wellbeing for young adults and children and supporting families with the focus on trying to keep them together.

Main duties will include working with children and young adults with Mental Health problems, and supporting their families and carers. To provide the best possible service outcomes for the client group and support them to reach their full potential and promoting their independence within the local community.

To support services in fulfilling the statutory functions as laid out in the Social Services and Wellbeing Act (Wales) 2014 and other relevant legislation pertaining to Mental Health Act 1983.
