We are currently seeking passionate Educators who have experience across the whole Primary age range to work within primary schools across Coventry & Warwickshire. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate students in a supportive and dynamic environment.
The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Fully Qualified SEN Teaching Assistant to work with a variety of primary schools on a supply or contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to gain diverse classroom experience, work with different school communities, and have flexibility in your working schedule.
Key Requirements:
• Fully Qualified SEN – essential.
• Previous experience within UK primary schools.
• Flexibility to work at short notice across different schools.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain a new one.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Adapt to different classroom environments and year groups as required.
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding and pupil welfare.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
• Support Pupils with mental, social, and physical difficulties.
• Able to adapt learning styles for individual pupils.
• Organise outside activities for learning purposes.
• Work closely with other professionals like educational psychologists or physiotherapists.
• Good verbal and numerical skills are important.
Enhanced DBS and Safeguarding:

To be considered for the higher end of the salary bracket, candidates should demonstrate:
• Advanced Experience: Extensive experience of student success.
• Leadership or Coordinator Roles: Experience with subject lead, department coordinator, or involvement in extracurricular activities.
• Professional Development: Continued professional development (CPD) including advanced training or certifications that enhance teaching practice.
