Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced English tutors to deliver high‑quality 1:1 tuition to learners in Surrey as part of our alternative provision services. The ideal candidate will be able to adapt lesson delivery to meet individual needs, support learners in developing key English skills, and contribute positively to their academic progress.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging, personalised English tuition aligned to learner needs and curriculum requirements.
Find a Job
• Support learners working towards GCSE, Functional Skills, or tailored learning goals.
• Foster confidence, motivation, and positive engagement with learning.
• Record and monitor progress, providing regular feedback to the central team.
Requirements:
• Experience teaching or tutoring English up to GCSE level (preferred).
Find a Job
• Ability to differentiate teaching to suit individual learner needs.
• Strong communication skills and a student‑centred approach.
• Enhanced DBS check prior to working with children (or willingness to obtain one).
• Eligible to work in the UK.
