Summary

We are recruiting for an Advocacy worker to work 30hrs flexibly across the working week from Monday – Friday, to meet the needs of the Service.

This role is a mix of face to face work and some remote working. This is a home-based role where the successful candidate will live in West Cornwall and work predominantly in this part of the county meeting children in schools or in the community depending on the wishes of the child.
As well as direct advocacy work, the advocacy worker will have shared responsibility for recruitment of volunteers. They will also supervise volunteers and contribute to the delivery of training for new and existing volunteers, providing ongoing support for their voluntary role.
We are committed to improving our services by listening to and acting upon the voices of children and young people. Seeking feedback is important. You will be required to seek feedback from children, professionals and families. so their experiences can influence service development.
A full induction will be provided, which will include advocacy training and shadowing other members of the team. Closing date is the 13th of January 2026 with interviews scheduled to take place on Tuesday the 20th January 2026.
