This is a part-time, 3 days per week role, but we may consider a full-time position for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
• Capture professional photographs in studio and on location, ensuring the highest quality standards.
• Photograph a wide variety of items: fine art, antiques, jewellery, silver, furniture, etc.
• Edit and retouch images using Adobe Photoshop and other editing software to enhance visual appeal.
• Upload edited images into the company's digital catalogue system to meet auction deadlines.
• Ensure proper lighting, composition, background and colour accuracy while photographing items.
• Organise and archive digital images systematically for easy retrieval and future use.
• Utilise social media management tools to publish and promote visual content across multiple platforms.
• Maintain consistency in image style to match the company's brand guidelines.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, camera technology, and editing techniques to continually improve skills.

Skills
• Strong photo editing skills with an eye for colour correction, composition, and lighting.
• Knowledge of photography techniques, including lighting, framing, and composition.
• Proficiency with photo editing software (Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop or equivalent).
• Excellent attention to detail: correct colour rendition, accurate representation of condition, sharp focus, appropriate background/scale.
• Excellent file management, organisational skills, ability to work under deadline pressure and coordinate with other departments.
Desirable
• Experience photographing jewellery, precious metals, or fine art and large items (furniture, sculpture, vehicles).
• Knowledge of digital asset management/catalogue systems.
• Familiarity with online auction platforms and listing requirements.
• Basic video or 360° item-photography experience.
• Interest in antiques, art, design, collectibles is a plus.
