Summary

Grounds Maintenance Operative
Location: Salisbury, Wiltshire
Hourly Rate: £12.21
Contract type: Permanent, Full Time
Working hours: 37 to 40 hours per week. Longer hours in the Summer with banked time off in the Winter.
Typically Mon- Thurs 7am - 3pm in Winter (3:45pm finish in Summer), Friday 7am - 2:30pm

About the role

Grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning, flower bed maintenance, spraying, and more - join us as a Grounds Maintenance Operative and you'll be doing them all. As part of our South Wiltshire team in Salisbury, you will keep grounds in the local community in wonderful condition. It's a great opportunity to develop your skills, gain valuable experience, and grow with us in a friendly and encouraging environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in grounds maintenance, including winter pruning.
  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • A full valid UK driving licence.
  • Can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset.
  • Willingness to learn and work well in a team.
  • PA1 and PA6 licences are an advantage, but not essential.
