We are seeking a creative and experienced Head Chef to lead the Garden Kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee the popular outdoor dining offering woodfired pizzas, seasonal salads, sharing plates, snacks, and sides that complement the setting during the spring and summer seasons.
Key Responsibilities:
-Design and execute innovative, seasonal menus highlighting produce from the garden, foraged items, and local Scottish suppliers.
-Lead and inspire a dedicated kitchen brigade, fostering a positive and efficient team environment.
-Manage food costs, stock control, and compliance with health & safety standards.
-Collaborate with the main restaurant team to ensure consistency across the culinary offerings.
-Contribute to special events, garden gigs, and outdoor experiences that make this a destination spot.
About You:
-Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-quality, seasonal-focused kitchen (preferably with woodfired cooking or outdoor dining).
-A genuine passion for Scottish produce, sustainability, and garden-to-plate cooking.
-Strong leadership skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, seasonal operation.
-Creative flair and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
-Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak seasons.
