What You’ll Need

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience working with students with (SEND.
  • Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice, assessment pathways, and statutory guidelines.
  • National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) or willingness to complete it.

What You’ll Do

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to students with SEND.
  • Assess progress using appropriate tools and contribute to statutory assessment processes.
  • Work closely with therapists, support staff, families, and external agencies.
  • Develop and review EHCP targets to support measurable student outcomes.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment that helps students thrive.
