Your guidance could be the difference between a counsellor thriving and burning out. If you're an experienced counsellor with a knack for supporting others, this role puts your skills where they truly matter.
We’re looking for a Clinical Supervisor to join us at Beacon Counselling in Stockport (SK1 3DL). This is a part-time role where your support helps our team make a bigger impact with adults, children and young people.
The Role
You’ll help shape the care our team gives—offering support, advice, and insight so they feel confident and equipped to do their best work. You’ll also play a key role in safeguarding and service decisions.
Key Responsibilities
• Run one-to-one and group supervision sessions, so your team feels backed and supported
• Keep supervision records up to date, helping everything run smoothly and professionally
• Offer advice around safeguarding and clinical risks, helping keep clients and therapists safe
• Share ideas to improve how we work—your voice counts
• Be flexible with working hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, so we can meet client needs
The Benefits
• Get paid sooner with Stream—access up to 30% of your wages as you earn, for more control over your money
• Enjoy more time off your way with 23 days’ holiday, bank holidays, and the option to buy or sell leave
• Feel supported with paid sick leave and a 3% pension contribution that gives you peace of mind
• Keep learning with funded qualifications (Levels 2–6) and online training that fits around you
• Grow your career—we promote from within, and you’ll have real chances to move up
• Cut travel costs with 45p/mile mileage and cycle-to-work schemes
• Get recognised through monthly and annual colleague awards
• Boost your income with double pay on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day
The Person
• You’ve got at least a Level 4 counselling qualification
• You’ve completed a recognised supervision qualification
• You’re registered with BACP or a similar professional body
• You’ve worked with both adults and young people, and know how to support therapists doing the same
• You’re confident with safeguarding, and calm under pressure
• You’re approachable, organised, and care about helping others grow
