Summary
Luma Education Recruitment is delighted to be working in partnership with an exciting and rapidly growing nursery to recruit an experienced Nursery Manager as part of their leadership team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for ambitious and passionate early years professionals who are ready to take the next step in their career and play a key role in the continued development of a newly opened nursery setting.
Our client’s nursery offers modern, spacious, well-designed rooms along with extensive outdoor learning areas, creating an inspiring environment where children can flourish. As part of the leadership team, you will help to embed high standards, shape best practice and support the nursery’s long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate and support the Deputy Manager, Room Leaders and Early Years Practitioners to deliver outstanding care and education.
Support staff recruitment, induction, mentoring and professional development.
Create a welcoming, inclusive and child-centred environment where families feel confident and valued.
Develop strong partnerships with parents, staff and the local authority.
Implement and continually develop an engaging EYFS curriculum.
Ensure full compliance with Ofsted, safeguarding and health & safety requirements.
Play a pivotal role demonstrating the nursery’s vision, values and reputation.
The Ideal Candidate
Level 3 Early Years qualification or above (essential).
At least 2 years’ experience in a senior or leadership role.
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and Ofsted expectations.
Confident, child-centred practitioners with a creative and reflective approach.
Proactive, solution-focused and highly organised leaders.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
Passionate about delivering high-quality care and driving continuous improvement.
