Summary
The position is on a self-employed basis.
The successful candidate will be competent in completing general cleaning tasks and skilled with cleaning tools as required. Formal qualifications are not essential however previous experience working in a cleaning position is desirable and the successful candidate must be COSHH aware and be familiar with safe methods of work and be able to provide references.
Duties include but are not limited to sweeping and mopping internal floors, vacuuming entrance carpets, cleaning handrails and other touchpoints, doors/doorframes, skirting and walls, internal door windows and performing other general cleaning tasks as required.
As this is a self-employed position the successful candidate must have appropriate insurance for self and public liability and access to their own tools required to complete required works.
Key skills & abilities
• Previous cleaning experience desirable,
• Must have appropriate insurance for self and public liability,
• Strong organizational and follow up skills,
• An eye for detail,
• Professional presentation and attitude,
• Ability to maintain focus while working individually,
• Strong time management skills.
