Summary
The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Phlebotomy ( essential) Carrying out basic health checks (blood pressure, pulse, weight, height, BMI) Assisting with chronic disease management e.g., diabetes and hypertension reviews ( training provided) Administering flu and other vaccinations (training provided) Providing lifestyle advice- ( training provided) Conducting NHS Health Checks ( training provided) Supporting infection control and health promotion initiatives Processing samples and maintaining clinical equipment Ensure fridges are cleaned routinely in accordance with extant guidance Administrative tasks to support patient care ( training provided)
