Summary
Work closely with the Cancer Information Lead and the Cancer and Imaging Performance Manager to manage the monitoring, prediction of performance, reporting mechanism and data collection of the above mandatory cancer data requirements Responsible for liaising with the Trusts Information Team to ensure the monthlyCancer performance and COSD uploads are sent within the allocated time scales, and all validation errors are corrected. Attend and liaise regularly with the Peninsula Cancer Alliance to ensure patient pathways are robust and share information Responsible for effective liaison with all departments and tertiary centres to ensure all cancer patients and suspected cancer patients are fast tracked through diagnostics to treatment Attend and contribute to operational meetings Train and coach staff across the organisation to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures Escalate issues identified to the manager for inclusion in the risk register, where appropriate, to action remedial work as required Key relationships will be with: Cancer Services Manager Cancer Waiting Times Service Development Manager Cancer Waiting Times Practice Manager Cancer Waiting Times Co-ordinators, Data Clerks and Navigators Cancer and Imaging Performance Manager Lead Cancer Nurse Consultant Leads, Consultants and other medical/nursing staff Clinical Nurse Specialists Wider Cancer Services Team Trust wide Performance Managers Site Specific Operational Managers and Practice Managers Care Group Director for planned care Community teams and services
