Summary
The duties and responsibilities to be undertaken by GP Partner or Salaried GPs are varied and will differ from time to time under the direction of the Partners and/or Practice Manager, dependent on current and evolving Practice workload and staffing levels: Provide care for a list size in the region of 1800 patients FTE. You will be their named Doctor. Attend all clinical team meetings, on average once or twice per month. Management of pathology and imaging results and associated tasks. Completion of medicines management within appropriate time frame, i.e. prescriptions. Appropriate management of workflow regarding patients on your list. To see 30 patients each full day Carry out visits for your patient population. Visits will be allocated by the Duty Doctor and will take into account needs of all Doctors and GP trainees. If appropriate, it may be that a visit for your patient will be carried out by a trainee. A laptop and remote log-in will be provided in order for you to carry out appropriate administrative tasks whilst away from the surgery.
