This dynamic team, recently nominated at the HYCCN awards for going the extra mile, is looking for three individuals keen to be part of this ever-evolving and growing service and will continue to go the extra mile for their patients.

This role is either fixed term 18 Months or secondment if current manager approves.

The post holder will act as a multidisciplinary team member providing comprehensive care for cancer patients undergoing systemic anti-cancer therapies (SACT).

As a clinical nurse specialist, the post holder, in conjunction with the existing team, will provide specialist knowledge, advice, and SACT support and care to patients, carers, and other health professionals.

Youwill act as a first point of contact for individuals who need to access the specialist service and will provide advice and ongoing support to colleagues in other services as required.

The post holder will be responsible for maintaining and developing nurse-led initiatives encompassing support and treatment of physical and psychological side effects of patients undergoing treatment.

You will assess and implement care, keep adequate records, ensure the effective delivery of care, support specialist procedures, and provide ongoing support to patients, carers and other health professionals.

The post holder will assist the CNS team with undertaking research and audits, as well as specialist education and training for other junior staff members and students.

The Humber Health Partnership is one of the largest acute and community Partnership arrangements in the NHS, seeing well over one million patients every year and managing a budget of over £1.3 billion.

Made up of two Trusts - Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust (NLAG) and Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (HUTH) - our Partnership has significant ambitions and is committed to delivering world-class hospital and community services for the 1.65 million people we serve.

Together we employ nearly 20,000 staff. Our five main hospital sites are Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital, Scunthorpe General Hospital and Goole and District Hospital, for NLAG and Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital for HUTH.
