Contract: 12 months training contract
We have the exciting opportunity for a Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) to join the NHS Doncaster Talking Therapies team (Core).
We are a well-established and high performing Talking Therapies Service, with the service originally being one of the national demonstration sites in 2006.
The service provides a wide range of evidence-based psychological interventions options, including: guided self-help, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR), person-centred experiential therapy (PCET), interpersonal therapy (IPT) and Couples Therapy for Depression.
The successful applicant will undertake the Low Intensity Psychological Interventions Course at the University of Sheffield.

Service interviews to be held week commencing 12th January.
If you are successful at the service interview, you will then be offered a further interview with the University of Sheffield.
Successful applicant must be available to start the course week commencing 9th March.
Whilst with the service, Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners will often be working independently within GP practices and community settings but under the supervision of an experienced practitioner and have the motivation and capacity to help develop the service and improve patient care. In particular you will help deliver and support the treatment of anxiety and depression in primary care using a range of evidence-based treatments including psycho-education and guided self-help, predominantly face-to-to-face, but also with a facility for group and computerised formats. You will receive regular case management and clinical supervision.
