Summary

Role Summary
We are seeking a passionate, creative, and highly organized Chef to lead our culinary team. You will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, from menu design and inventory management to maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety. The ideal candidate is a natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to delivering an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
Culinary Excellence: Design and execute innovative menus that align with our brand; oversee food preparation to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff. Manage scheduling and foster a positive, collaborative kitchen culture.
Financial Oversight: Manage food costs, labor budgets, and vendor relationships to ensure profitability without compromising quality.
Operational Standards: Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations (HACCP/Food Safety standards). Maintain equipment and oversee kitchen cleanliness.
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, perform regular audits, and minimize waste through efficient prep and ordering.
Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Education: Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent apprenticeship/experience preferred.
Technical Skills: Mastery of various cooking techniques, knife skills, and familiarity with professional kitchen equipment.
Soft Skills: Strong communication, ability to work under pressure, and a "lead-by-example" mentality.
Certifications: Valid Food Handler’s or Food Protection Manager certification.
