Summary
Every once in a while, a Technical Coordinator role comes along that makes you sit up and think 'I'd love to be working in those projects'. This one is going to offer you a wide range of variety of several different methods of construction that you won't get in most firms and this this family business will give you the opportunity to get your teeth stuck into some genuine flagship sites in the Northwest. They'll be the types of sites that transform communities and town centres that when completed, you can look back fondly and say 'I helped build that'.
We're talking about sites with hundreds of units of them, different tenures and build, several different methods of construction, varying sizes of houses and apartments up to 6 storeys which are dotted around the Greater Manchester area. They'll really want you to get stuck into the life cycle and as you'll have an involvement in the RIBA stages as well as the BIM coordinated design - including overseeing and monitoring drawings and planning conditions and liaising with the local authorities and LABC - you'll ideally come from an architectural background.
They've an experienced team to assist you and a real mix of experience from different walks of the new build residential sphere. You'll be office based (North Manchester) but able to get out onto site as well and see your input taking shape. They'll be offering you a very competitive package plus loads of extra bits added on - the usual car allowance, pension and health care package - and then bits which'll improve your work/life balance the longer you're there, too.
There’s much more to tell you about the business, too, a family firm who have invested in and brought in experienced skillsets over the last 5 years to bolster a growing business looking to build around 450 units over 12 affordable sites in 2025. With a package on offer between £45,000 to £50,000 plus car allowance and bonus in addition to many years continuous work on these flagship projects, this is a great opportunity to put your name to something very different to the usual Tech Coordinator jobs out there.
Summary:
• Technical Coordinator wanted for North Manchester based new build housing contractor.
• Working on several projects from affordable housing to 6-storey apartment schemes.
