About the role
Are you practical, hands‑on and looking for a role that fits around your life?
Do you enjoy DIY, fixing things, or general handywork?
Maybe you’re the one who ends up repairing things at home — even if you’ve never seen it as a “career” before?
If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
You don’t need formal qualifications or previous maintenance experience to get started. What matters most is your curiosity, practical mindset, and willingness to learn something new.
As a Maintenance Technician at Tesco, you’ll help keep our stores safe, functional and welcoming for colleagues and customers. You’ll join a friendly, supportive team carrying out a mix of planned and reactive maintenance tasks that keep our operations running smoothly every day.
This is a role where you can see the difference you make and where your work improves the experience of thousands of people.
You’ll receive full training and ongoing development to help you feel confident, build new technical skills, and grow a career with one of the UK’s most trusted and inclusive brands.
And because we know life isn’t one‑size‑fits‑all, we’d welcome a conversation about flexible working - so talk to us about what you need.
