Summary

Action Staffing is seeking an experienced Ofsted Registered Manager to take the lead across two therapeutic children's homes in Leyland. We are looking for a leader with a proven history of achieving "Good" or "Outstanding" ratings with Ofsted.

Role Overview: You will hold the legal responsibility as the Registered Manager for two sites, ensuring full compliance with the Children’s Homes Regulations. You will lead your teams to provide high-quality, trauma-informed care for young people (aged 7-17).

Key Duties:

Ofsted Registration: Act as the legally responsible person for two homes.

Inspection Readiness: Ensure both homes are always inspection-ready and meet the Quality Standards.

Team Leadership: Supervise and develop staff to ensure high standards of care.

Safeguarding Lead: Manage all safeguarding concerns and liaise with external agencies.

Requirements:

Qualification: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.

Experience: 2+ years as an Ofsted Registered Manager.

Track Record: Must have experience dealing with Ofsted inspections and achieving positive outcomes.

Licence: Full UK Driving Licence.

Benefits:

Salary up to £75,000 (DOE).

Performance bonuses for Ofsted ratings.
