A highly reputable mechanical and electrical services provider-supporting industrial, defence and specialist service organisations-is seeking an Electrical Installation Engineer to join their unique offshore installation team. This is a rare opportunity to work on some of the UK's most iconic and remote structures: lighthouses.
You'll join a dedicated team of electricians delivering high‑quality electrical installations and stainless‑steel containment systems across the UK coastline. If you're looking for a role that's technically rewarding, adventurous, and far from ordinary, this is it.
The Role
Working as part of a specialist installation team, you will:
- Install high‑quality electrical services and stainless‑steel containment systems
- Work on lighthouse structures across the UK (offshore and remote locations)
- Travel nationwide with full lodge, travel and subsistence provided
- Deliver work to an exceptional standard of presentation and compliance
- Work away from home for 10-20 days at a time, followed by extended rest periods
- Example: 16 days working, 6 days off (weekends loaded at the end of the project)
What You'll Need
- 18th Edition (essential)
- C&G 2357 NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (essential)
- Proven expertise in stainless steel containment installation
- Strong attention to detail and high‑quality workmanship
- Ability to work as part of a close‑knit installation team
- Willingness to travel nationwide and work offshore for extended periods
