A highly reputable mechanical and electrical services provider-supporting industrial, defence and specialist service organisations-is seeking an Electrical Installation Engineer to join their unique offshore installation team. This is a rare opportunity to work on some of the UK's most iconic and remote structures: lighthouses.

You'll join a dedicated team of electricians delivering high‑quality electrical installations and stainless‑steel containment systems across the UK coastline. If you're looking for a role that's technically rewarding, adventurous, and far from ordinary, this is it.

The Role

Working as part of a specialist installation team, you will:

  • Install high‑quality electrical services and stainless‑steel containment systems
  • Work on lighthouse structures across the UK (offshore and remote locations)
  • Travel nationwide with full lodge, travel and subsistence provided
  • Deliver work to an exceptional standard of presentation and compliance
  • Work away from home for 10-20 days at a time, followed by extended rest periods
  • Example: 16 days working, 6 days off (weekends loaded at the end of the project)

What You'll Need

  • 18th Edition (essential)
  • C&G 2357 NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (essential)
  • Proven expertise in stainless steel containment installation
  • Strong attention to detail and high‑quality workmanship
  • Ability to work as part of a close‑knit installation team
  • Willingness to travel nationwide and work offshore for extended periods
