Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and supportive Teaching Assistant to help teachers deliver lessons, support student learning, and contribute to a positive classroom environment. The role involves assisting with lesson preparation, providing one-to-one or group support, and promoting student engagement and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Support teachers in delivering lessons and classroom activities.

Assist students individually or in small groups to enhance learning.

Help with lesson planning, preparation, and classroom resources.

Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.

Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.

Support students with additional learning needs (SEN) as required.

Help maintain classroom discipline and organisation.

Required Skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience, empathy, and understanding of student needs.

Organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively.

Ability to support learning and development initiatives.

Teamwork and collaboration with teachers and school staff.

Qualifications:

Minimum: GCSEs (A*-C) or equivalent; relevant vocational qualifications preferred.

Experience in a classroom or educational environment is an advantage.

Caring, approachable, and professional.

Enthusiastic about supporting children’s learning and development.

Flexible and adaptable to classroom needs.
