Summary
The post will be based at the arterial centre in Bradford which provides inpatient care for patients from Calderdale, Kirklees, Airedale and Craven as well as the Bradford city and district. There are 11Consultant Vascular Surgeons and a dedicated vascular ward. The post holder will be an integral part of this team and be able to gain experience of planned and unplanned admissions for a population of over 1 million. The role will incorporate outpatient clinics, endovenous treatments and vascular operating theatres. The department has an active research profile and a strong teaching recordthe successful applicants will be encouraged to take part in research, Quality Improvement and teaching as well as accessing the educational opportunities associated with the department.
