We are looking for an Apprentice Support Worker with a drive to support and improve the lives of the vulnerable adults in our care at Cygnet Hospital Bierley.
You'll be working and learning, earning a level 2 care worker qualification, a diploma in health and social care and the care certificate, over a period of 15 months. You'll work 3 12 hour shifts per week, with a learning day every second week, which works out to 42 hours per week across the month.
Cygnet Hospital Bierley provides a range of acute and low secure mental health services for men and women.
The hospital is set across four wards offering single-sex male and female specialist mental health services. All our services are provided under the umbrella of a recovery orientated approach and are reviewed through the CPA framework.

Earn as you learn, starting at £8.60 for your first year, rising to NMW for your age at month 12, (£10-£12.21), with the opportunity to become a support worker once you have completed your 15-month fixed term apprenticeship (£12.85 per hour, £28,280 per year)
