Empowering and Supporting Children and Young People in Wiltshire to Become Active
We are looking for someone passionate about making sport and physical activity accessible for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) across Wiltshire.
In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of our Short Breaks Inclusive Activities programme, creating opportunities during term time and school holidays. You will work closely with families, carers, and young people to ensure activities reflect their needs and interests.
You will collaborate with partners and coaches to maintain high-quality, inclusive programmes and monitor outcomes to show impact and drive improvements. Representing Wiltshire Council in disability sport forums and creating networks, you will champion inclusive practices and help shape future plans.
This role involves regular travel across the county and some evening and weekend work. You will need expertise of working with children and young people with SEND, knowledge of safeguarding, and a sound sports coaching background.
If you are committed to inclusion and want to make a real difference, we’d love to hear from you!
