Summary
Senior Support Worker – Full Time | Chorley
Pay: £14.46 - £15.40ph per hour (dependent on experience)
Hours: 35–40 hours per week, day shifts
About the Role:
P4 Recruitment is partnering with an award-winning Lancashire social care organisation to recruit a dedicated Senior Support Worker. In this role, you’ll not only provide exceptional care to adults with a range of disabilities but also take a leadership role within the team, supporting and mentoring other support workers to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care and support to adults with varying disabilities
Assist service users with daily living tasks and meaningful activities
Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing
Support service users in engaging with community activities
Maintain accurate records of care and report on outcomes
Supervise, mentor, and guide junior support staff
Lead by example and ensure high standards of care across shifts
Support team in implementing care plans and best practices
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a social care support role
Previous leadership or senior support experience preferred
Full, clean driving licence preferred
Flexible, reliable, and team-focused
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
