Summary
Please refer to the full Job description /PERSON SPECIFICATION attached The post holder will be responsible for the provision of clinical audiology services in close working with the Audiology Team Lead, Adult Clinical Service Lead and Head of Department. This will cover the maintenance of demonstrably high professional standards in respect of: The scientific, technical, therapeutic, rehabilitation and clinical activity of the service Patient care The effective and efficient use of resources and the management of workload The provision of professional advice consistent with the responsibilities and expertise of the department Teaching and training of junior staff Keeping abreast with new developments and providing an evidence based service. Perform a range of technical activities related to the disorders of hearing for adults. Provide Audiological cover for ENT clinics. Provide a comprehensive hearing aid service to adult patients referred to the Audiology department including fitting and fine tuning of hearing aids.
