Summary
Assist with supervision and support of reception, admin, and secretarial staff. Support staff training, rotas, appraisals, and induction of new team members. Promote effective teamwork and a patient-focused culture. Handle routine staff issues and escalate appropriately. Ensure high standards of patient care and customer service. Support management of patient complaints in line with NHS procedures. Act as a point of contact for patient queries and concerns. Ensure confidentiality and data protection are maintained at all times. Assist with practice finances including claims, invoicing, and payment processing. Support QOF, Enhanced Services, and PCN-related reporting and submissions. Assist with monitoring budgets, expenditure, and supplier contracts. Oversee stock control and ordering of supplies. Support effective use of clinical and administrative systems such as EMIS. Assist with data quality, reporting, and audits. Ensure compliance with GDPR and information governance requirements. Deputise for the Practice Manager when required. Assist with service development, quality improvement, and change management. Support meetings, prepare reports, and take minutes when required
