Are you energetic, creative, and passionate about making a genuine impact in a young person’s life? If you want to help young people thrive, develop their life skills, and connect with others, this is the role for you!

• Working both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team (including collaboration with a SEN Community Specialist who will advise on learning goals and support strategies).
• Building a trusting relationship – your warmth, patience, and sense of humour will help foster his social skills and friendships.
• Liaising with local activity providers to ensure experiences are accessible and inclusive for young people with differences such as Autism, ADHD, sensory processing needs, and trauma backgrounds.
• Sharing your ideas for new activities and approaches – your creativity will be encouraged and valued!
Who Should Apply?
• Those studying or qualified in Youth Work, Social Work, Teaching, or related fields, with a passion for SEND.
• Individuals already working with young people seeking rewarding extra hours alongside their existing role.
• Anyone who understands adolescent interests and can truly connect with teenagers – a flair for thinking “outside the box” is a must.
• Applicants with a proactive approach, high energy, and a commitment to making a positive difference.
• Individuals need to have a car and clean driving license.
• Applicants will undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS) and two satisfactory references are conditional for the post. This is a free and confidential process.
