Summary

Preparation and Evaluation Set up training accounts and award access levels prior to training. Create and develop lesson plans, subsequent exercises, and schemes of work in line with Standard Operating Procedures Develop and maintain manuals and users guides to support training and end users. Design learning interventions appropriate to the skills needed and the learner requirements. Extract and analyse reports on training queries as requested. Obtain feedback using an evaluation process, record and monitor the quality of learning interventions. Identify weaknesses or additional / specific needs and provide further support and assistance where required. Support and coach learners using relevant learning technologies. Facilitation Work with staff on a one-to-one basis to overcome any difficulties encountered using any electronic application. Design, develop, deliver and support learning for clinical and non-clinical electronic applications at basic, intermediate and advanced levels, using a variety of delivery methods and technology. Develop IT skills and support trainees in the application and understanding of Microsoft Office software including mouse and pc skills as well as any other electronic applications at basic, intermediate and advanced levels. Support deployment of new applications to relevant staff highlighted during project phase. Deliver clinical and administrative IT application training to all groups of staff, using appropriate language, learning methodologies and tools. Provide support to e-learners where required. Ensure users are aware of relevant legislation and policies relating to the training being undertaken. Inform staff of audit trails and how they relate to the use of the IT systems being trained. Assist in training and delivery of externally accredited courses. Communication Liaise with internal or external stakeholders to identify those who need additional support. Co-ordinate learning activities with Business Change and Communications Teams. Assist in the development of relevant content for publication on Intranets, Extranets and other content sources. Answer all queries in a professional manner to help and support the Digital Training team and its trainees. Other Duties and Responsibilities Inform staff of fire safety procedures and take responsibility for staff in such events during training sessions. Undertake system administration including set-up and access to the IT computer network ensuring the IM&T security policy is adhered to by members of staff. Responsible for implementation and support of Digital systems including new versions testing up grades, software support and on-going development, systems administration, and user set-up. To work additional hours/outside normal working hours on occasions for project implementations with notice and in consultation with the post holder.
