I am looking for a friendly and kind PA to help nursing staff look after me. I am currently in Hospital (physical health). I have been here for the last few months. I have recently been diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder (with Paralysis from the shoulders downwards) with Non-Epileptic Seizures. I also have a suprapubic catheter.

This position is only temporary at the moment and it’s only a couple of hours every few days at the moment, but it’s likely to become daily and permanent when I come out of hospital after I finish neuro Rehab

I’m looking for someone to help the nursing staff who look after me (as I'm a double up and help with my feeds, washes etc.)

I’m a bubbly person who has been put in a horrible situation.

Duties include:
- Medication prompting/administering
- Eating and drinking assistance
- Moving and handling
- Clinical tasks
- Administration
- Shopping
- Cooking
- Looking after pets
- Dressing / undressing
- Bathroom assistance
- Emptying connected Catheter
- Washing & dressing
- Medication ( when at home)
- Feeding And giving Drink
- Helping Hospital staff

Candidate qualities:
- Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
- Able to tolerate the employer smoking in the workplace
- Reliable with good timekeeping
- Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
- Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
- Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Honest and cheerful
- Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
- Must be comfortable with pets
- Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
- Happy to work in a smoking environment
- Friendly
- Good personality
- Good timekeeping
