Summary
Combined Mess Manager - MOD Boscombe Down
Monday to Friday with occasional weekends
Contract Type: Full Time - £27,500 Per Annum
Are you an organised, people-focused leader with a passion for delivering exceptional service? We’re looking for a Combined Mess Manager to oversee all Soft FM services - including accommodation, food & beverage (bars and catering), cleaning, and events - ensuring smooth, compliant, and high-quality operations.
What you’ll do:
- Lead daily operations across all Catering, Hospitality & Accomodation services within the mess.
- Drive excellence in health & safety, food safety, and compliance standards.
- Oversee budgeting, invoicing, and stock control to meet financial targets.
- Manage team performance, training, and development, fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Coordinate functions and events, ensuring outstanding client satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at all times.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
What you’ll bring:
- Proven leadership experience in hospitality, facilities management, or similar.
- Strong understanding of HSE regulations and compliance procedures.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and financial management skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and commitment to service excellence.
