Summary
- Location: SAMS, Oban
- Working Pattern: Full Time – Monday to Friday – 08:45-17:09hrs (can be flexible on start/end times)
- Salary: £24,242.40 per annum

The Role:
We currently have a number of installation projects which require completion by the end of March. We also need extra help over the next few months with general maintenance activities to assist us over a busy period.
See list of facilities priority activities below:
> Provide practical general facilities support activities, working with the wider team, including general facilities maintenance support across all team activities for ad-hoc and reactive works-building fixtures, fittings, fabric and installed systems and exterior works.
> Provide support to Electrical project and compliance works including LED lighting replacement works and Portable Appliance testing (PAT) works.
> Assist with project enabling works -space re-arrangements, re-purposing in advance of site planned projects starting soon.
> General FM duties as required, which include room set ups for functions and meetings, furniture moves and office set ups.
Our Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be a proactive and versatile individual, ideally with hands-on experience in general maintenance. They should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in an operational environment. Key attributes include:
Technical Expertise:
> Proven experience in general maintenance and repair.
> Familiarity with construction enabling works and basic building services.
Practical Skills:
> Skilled in furniture installation, room setup, and space optimization.
> Ability to carry out general maintenance tasks across multiple disciplines.
Compliance & Safety:
> Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and risk assessments.
> Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Personal Qualities:
> Reliable, adaptable, and self-motivated.
> Excellent communication and organisational skills.
> Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines under minimal supervision.
Desirable Qualifications:
> Experience in facilities management within commercial or institutional settings.

What happens after the closing date?
