Bristol Magistrates' Court, located at Marlborough Street, BS1 3NU, serves as the city's primary magistrates' court and tribunal hearing centre. The courthouse handles minor criminal offences, preliminary hearings, and civil matters, offering accessible, first-instance justice within the UK court system.
Your new role
Join our team as a Cleaning Operative, where you'll help maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment within the courthouse. Your duties will include:
- Vacuuming and mopping floors in public areas, offices, and corridors
- Emptying bins and managing waste disposal responsibly
- Cleaning and sanitising surfaces, including desks, counters, and communal spaces
- Tidying and organising designated areas to ensure a presentable environment
- Following strict health, safety, and security protocols
Shift Pattern:
- Full-time: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 6:00 am - 12:00 pm
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' cleaning experience and a good understanding of COSHH. You will need to have strong communication skills, be hard-working, and practical. The successful candidate will be required to complete a Basic DBS check.
