The Role:
St Andrew’s Primary School launched a Nurture Hub in September 2024. We are looking to recruit a new team to support with this provision to work alongside our Nurture teacher.
We are proud to be an accredited Thrive School of Excellence through our existing ethos of nurturing all pupils’ social and emotional development and wellbeing.
A key strength of the school is our commitment to developing positive relationships. We were previously an accredited Thrive School of Excellence and we are now an accredited Nurture UK school.The aims of the Nurture hub are to ensure that pupils attending make good progress in their learning, communication and social skills; to reduce any anxieties and challenges that act as a barrier to learning. The school and local authority will be partnering with Nurture UK to ensure an evidence-based approach will be implemented.
We are looking for a very special individual who is suitably qualified, highly effective and able to work closely as part of the whole school pastoral team. The successful candidate will be committed to ensure all of children receive an extraordinary educational experience. You will have the full support of our school and the wider trust community to achieve this. The role is to work flexibly as part of a team, under the direction of class teachers and/or the SENDCO to provide teaching and learning support to pupils, teachers and the wider school community.
St Andrew’s is a church school in the village of Congresbury. We are blessed with the most wonderful grounds that are spacious and full of opportunities in which to grow and learn, with St Andrew’s Church overlooking our youngest children’s playground.
