Summary
Hours of Work: 30 hours per week
08.50am to 03.20pm Monday to Friday - Term time 38 weeks plus an additional week to be agreed by the Head teacher
Start Date: As soon as possible and until July 2027Salary: The full time equivalent pro rata salary is £17901 to £18186
Based on LG Band 3, Points 5-6, under 5 years’ service
Imperial Avenue is looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic temporary Teaching Assistant to work with SEND children. The successful candidate will be:• A motivated, experienced and resourceful person to join our team, supporting the learning and development of children with special needs on a 1-1 basis and small group basis • Experienced in working with children with ASD would be an advantage, but a caring attitude, patience, and an ability to respond to the needs of a child are also important • Willing to work cross phase Foundation stage/Key Stage 1 • Qualified to a good level of educational qualifications
In addition, you will: • Have lots of energy and patience • Demonstrate good communication skills • Have a positive, hardworking and committed attitude • Be able to work effectively with a strong and committed team of TA’s and Teachers • Be committed to inclusion and equality of opportunity for all • Develop a positive relationship with parents/carers • Carry out lunchtime duties
