Summary
Your new company
We're looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician (Plumber) to join an established maintenance team on a temporary or permanent basis. You will be expected to work independently and as part of a team to operate within a busy commercial estate.
You will be reporting into an estates manager & foreman.
Working hours: 8-4, Monday to Friday. (Occasional on-call and overtime also required)
Own hand tools will be required but technical equipment provided.
Your new role
You will use your Mechanical Engineering skills to carry out proactive planned maintenance of ventilation, heating, cooling, water, medical gas, steam raising, and drainage systems. You will also carry out reactive tasks within KPI and SLA targets ensuring that our customers are satisfied with the work that has been carried out.
What you'll need to succeed
Qualifications
Essential:
* To have completed a full, recognised mechanical apprenticeship or hold a BTEC NVQ Level 3/ONC/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent City & Guilds qualification.
Desirable:
* Additional trade relevant certification e.g. Heating, Ventilation, Natural Gas, Control Systems, PPM.
* Accredited HTM Competent Person Course.
* Resuscitation/First Aid Training.
* Infection Control Awareness Training.
