Are you an enthusiastic HLTA ready to make a real difference in a primary school setting? We're looking for passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistants to join welcoming schools across Northampton, supporting pupils to achieve their best.
✨ As a Primary HLTA, you will:
- Deliver whole-class lessons in the teacher's absence, following pre-prepared plans
- Support pupils in small groups and one-to-one, focusing on core subjects like English and Maths
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities
- Provide constructive feedback on pupil progress and contribute to assessments
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and confidence
What you'll need to succeed:
- HLTA status or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience working in a primary school setting
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- A flexible, proactive approach and a passion for supporting young learners
