Your New Role
As a Senior Building Safety Manager, you will lead ateam of Building Safety Managers and oversee the development and implementationof robust building safety management systems. You'll act as the key liaisonwith regulators, fire authorities, and other stakeholders, ensuring compliancewith the Building Safety Act and associated legislation. Your responsibilitieswill include managing workflows, producing safety cases, tailoring residentengagement strategies, and preparing reports for senior leadership andcommittees. This is a strategic role that combines leadership, technicalexpertise, and stakeholder engagement.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Proven leadership experience and ability to develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of building safety within large property portfolios.
  • Sound understanding of the Building Safety Act, Gateways, and digital building information requirements.
  • Experience in policy development, service improvement, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Recognised professional membership (CIOB, RICS, IFSM, IFE) or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage complex data and reporting.
  • Strong IT proficiency (Excel, Word).
  • Willingness to travel nationally and attend occasional evening meetings.
