We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst, you will lead business analysis activities on large, complex digital programmes.

Digital, Modernisation & Efficiency - Common Capabilities

We deliver critical services that support major transformation programmes modernising how DWP works. Using research-driven development, we automate processes and streamline workflows to help agents manage customer contact efficiently, reducing errors and improving experiences. You will work with experts in design, architecture, analysis and engineering, scaling and integrating our platform across multiple service lines.

Travel to other digital hubs required regularly

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?

  • Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst, leading business analysis activities within complex projects and environments.
  • Expert in stakeholder engagement, driving clarity and alignment across multiple teams and delivery strands.
  • Skilled in mentoring and supporting other BAs, fostering growth and sharing best practices.
  • Committed to continuous learning and development, actively building and enhancing your BA toolkit.

You and your role

As a Senior Business Analyst you will work on large, complex and cross-cutting products or services, sometimes across multiple projects simultaneously. Your role is key to enabling the delivery of digital solutions that achieve strategic business outcomes and improve experiences for millions of users.

You will lead workshops, interviews, and focus groups to understand business problems and user needs. Collaborating with senior technical and business stakeholders, you'll ensure requirements and acceptance criteria align with our established digital roadmaps.

Location: You'll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle or Sheffield

Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model - you'll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.

Pay: Pay for this role is from £57,946 to £68,205

Pension: You'll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions of 28.97%, worth up to £19,758 per year.

Holidays: A generous leave package starting at 26 days rising to 31 days over time.

You can also take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi-time. You'll also get all the usual public holidays.
