Summary

Care Assistant (days). Telford Hall Care Home

Pay Rate: £12.28 per hour
Shifts: 10am – 8pm or 7am-7pm available
Various contracts available including: 22 hours (2 days), 27 hours (3 days), 33 hours (3 days), 36 hours (4 days) or 44 hours (4 days)
*Join our team and receive a £500 welcome bonus

Responsibilities as a Day Care Assistant

In this vital role, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents during the nighttime hours. Key responsibilities include:

Assisting residents with personal care, including hygiene, dressing, and mobility support, ensuring their dignity and comfort.
Supporting residents with meals and hydration, ensuring their dietary needs are met.
Promoting resident engagement by encouraging participation in activities and social interaction.
Monitoring residents’ health and well-being, promptly addressing any changes or concerns.
Providing emotional support and companionship to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Documenting care activities accurately and maintaining clear communication with team members.
Ensuring a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for residents and colleagues.
Participating in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.

A genuine interest in health and social care (previous experience is advantageous but not essential).
