About the Role:
As our People Assistant, you’ll deliver comprehensive administrative support across the People function, acting as the first point of contact for colleagues, managers, and external contacts. You’ll play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our people data, supporting business decisions, and promoting our employer brand.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing general administrative support and ensuring data accuracy in all People Team systems.
Supporting recruitment, onboarding, induction, and the full employee lifecycle—including DBS checks and file management.
Assisting with payroll administration, personal development reviews, and contract variations.
Responding to routine people queries and escalating technical issues as needed.
Producing reports on people metrics and supporting compliance with employment law and organisational procedures.
Promoting Plus Dane’s values and collaborating across the team to deliver impactful activities.
What You’ll Bring:
Educated to GCSE/NVQ level or equivalent.
Previous experience in a generalist HR administrative role.
Proven ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders and individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Good understanding of employment legislation.
Familiarity with HR or payroll systems.
Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.

This is a fixed term contract role up to 12 months role working 35 hours per week. Your main base will be our Albert Dock office in Liverpool.
