Crynodeb
These posts are suitable for senior trainees who have successfully completed the FRCS (Tr & Orth) examination and wish to specialise further in foot and ankle surgery. Post-CCT candidates will be prioritised. These offer high-volume operative exposure across the full breadth of the subspecialty, including complex reconstructive work within a regional tertiary referral centre. Fellows will gain experience in advanced elective and trauma foot & ankle surgery, participate in the 1:9:? Guys elective weekend rota, and are expected to coordinate and contribute to local and regional MDT meetings. The programme is highly sought after, with previous fellows progressing to competitive consultant posts in the UK and internationally. You will be expected to provide an orthopaedic and trauma service in conjunction with colleagues.
