Hours: 44 hours per week or 22 hours per week available
Salary: £13.31 per hour
Shift Pattern: 8am-8pm
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Care Practitioners to join our day team at the brand-new Manor Park Care Home, in the picturesque town of Malton, North Yorkshire.
As a Care Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents throughout the day, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and wellbeing. You’ll assist with daily routines, provide personal care, and help create a warm and engaging environment where residents feel valued and safe.
This is a rewarding opportunity to be part of a new team from the very beginning and help shape a nurturing and professional care setting.
Key Responsibilities.
Deliver high-quality personal care, including assistance with washing, dressing, and mobility.
Support residents with meals, hydration, and social activities to promote wellbeing.
Respond promptly and sensitively to call bells and any changes in residents’ conditions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records and handover notes.
Uphold infection control and health & safety standards at all times.
Work collaboratively with the day team to ensure continuity of care.
Help create a positive, stimulating environment through conversation and activities.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a care role is desirable.
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to overnight care.
Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work day shifts, including alternate weekends.
A commitment to delivering person-centred care and maintaining residents’ dignity.
