An effective member of the accommodation team, providing a range of building related work which may include carpentry, joinery, plastering, tiling, painting and decorating, gardening, plumbing and drainage works.

Undertake an active role in maintaining a safe, efficient and smooth running of the residential accommodation service. This role provides skills which support the delivery of a range of effective day-to-day maintenance tasks in Trust's properties across multiple sites.

The role provides planned and reactive maintenance, refurbishment upgrades and tasks to be undertaken to the highest standard.

Have a role in the delivery of planned preventive and reactive maintenance as instructed by their line manager or maintenance manager.

Be required to undertake works in a Janitor/Caretaker type role related to building maintenance service requirements i.e carpentry, joinery, plastering, tiling, flooring, painting and decorating, gardening, plumbing and drainage works.

Ensure monthly mandatory testing is done i.e meter readings, emergency lighting and carbon monoxide alarms.
