Summary
The post supports the leadership and operational delivery of safeguarding in midwifery across the Trust within a clinical governance framework throughout the Trust.
The post holder will work closely with the Lead Safeguarding Midwife (and deputise in their absence) to lead the development of Think Family practice across the Trust.
The post holder will provide a crucial link between maternity staff, services and the corporate safeguarding team and external agencies e.g. Police and Social Care and act as a safeguarding role model to staff by the delivery of high quality advice and support.
The post holder will ensure links with a variety of outside agencies and attend multi agency meetings internal and external to the Trust.
