Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Hours of work:
Tuesdays and Thursdays 08:00-16:00
£12.60 per hour
Responsibilities
Clean and sanitise designated areas, including floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures, using appropriate cleaning equipment and products.
Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards of hygiene.
Manage waste disposal in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when stocks are low.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards identified during cleaning routines.
Follow health and safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding daily tasks and any concerns.
Qualifications
Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent customer service skills to interact politely with clients or visitors when necessary.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
