NESI Professionals are looking for health and social care professionals to join the team on a full-time OR part-time basis. Whilst working for NESI you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of Service users; Young people, Vulnerable Adults and the Elderly in need of support and assisting them to achieve their own set goals and outcomes, assisting them to learn new skills, and gain independence.
The skills we are looking for in a Care & Support Worker are:
- A genuine caring nature
- Willingness to help the person overcome their problems
- The ability to prioritise your tasks
- The ability to pass information methodically between the other healthcare team members
- Patient and firm personality
- Intuitive and flexible
- Ability to maintain composure in challenging and uncertain situations
- A team player
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Problem solving abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to de-escalate various crisis situations
- Ability to work long hours and sleeps
Experience in the care sector is not necessary, providing you possess the above skills. All successful candidates will be put through a training regime in order to be fully prepared for their first day. This will include Mandatory online & Face to Face training.
Progression onto more senior positions may be made available for the right candidate once they have completed their 12-week induction, with further progression onto management could also be made available depending on performance.
