About the role

Come and join our brilliant and friendly team! As part of the growth and development of our Business School, we are looking for a highly motivated Accounting and Finance Lecturer to join us in delivering our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including apprenticeships, and to contribute to our high-quality research profile. The post holder will become part of a friendly, hard-working and dedicated team of academics who deliver our BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance; MSc International Finance and Accounting; and finance-related modules on our undergraduate and postgraduate Business programmes.

We pride ourselves on offering strong support to students to help guide their success. Our academic staff bring significant industry experience, including backgrounds as professional accountants and in banking. As a programme and as a Department we are also committed to fostering an inclusive culture which promotes equality and diversity. With a strong focus on employability skills, you will also be working with our students to delve into contemporary issues, from the challenges of regulating fintech to the growth in cryptocurrency. With your ability to use real-world examples, you will also support our student’s understanding of the crucial role accounting and finance plays in organisational decision-making.
